Dear All

I have in my possession the birth certificate of my gt grandmother
Priscilla COLLISON born 14th December 1857 Registration District Lexden
District of Peldon, born in village of Fingringhoe. Priscilla's parents
were Josiah COLLISON (A Sawyer) and Susan FAIRS. The birth was
registered on 4th January 1858.

I have been able to establish some information about Josiah COLLISON but
not Susan FAIRS and her family.

Does the 1841 Census make any reference to either Josiah COLLISON or
Susan FAIRS? FAIRS look as if they were in Fingringhoe but Collisons may
have been in East Donyland. Probably both families came from Lexden
District.Fingringhoe village is where another gt grandmother was born
(Jane WATCHAM)
