Entirely off topic - I have a new computer that insists that I use Corel ***
for opening various image files; and this is a slow and laborious task each
time (including a warning about the number of days left that I can continue
to use this software).
So, a quick search of google came up with 'Irfanview'; the download took
less than a minute, I accepted the decision to open all files with this
software, and it is very good. Send the guy 10 euros as a sign of
appreciation if you found it useful, I did/have.
I will probably get told off now for being entirely off-topic, sorry Elmo,
it is a really good package though.
[I have no commercial links to this company, just a appreciation of their
hard work]

All,
You can't mention an Essex Pub without a reference to a page about it - so

I'm researching my Burgess family in Weeley and Kirby le Soken and have
just found a marriage of Mary Ann Burgess to Arthur Thompson.
Arthur was a shoe/boot maker then landlord at the Sun Inn also known as
the Rising Sun in Salcot, Essex. On the 1871 census his place of birth is
given as Weeley born about 1822.Could Arthur be Robert's brother?
