Good heavens - thank you so much for that information; that's why I always
read everything on the lists.
Would this suggest, then, that the Jersey oyster revelries always more or
less coincided with the census date, or not if there was an "r" in the
month, so to speak? I can Google for this, on second thoughts - still a bit
glazed over from two days of food I didn't really need!
