Subject: Charles Aldridge of Purfleet about 1815

I am interested in finding the birth record of Charles Aldridge who,
according to the 1861
and 1871 Censuses was born in Essex, Purfleet about 1815. He married Sarah
Fitchett from Crayford, Kent they and are my ancestors (2 of 16 from the 5th
generation).

As Purfleet is not a parish, I am unsure where to look.
It seems to be between Wennington and Thurrock (Grays, Little, West).
None of these have been included in IGI.

Also, if someone can point at the most likley parish could they also please
tell
me about the availability of the register.
