Helen,
this is too early for Crockford's which didn't start publication until
the 1860's.
The university of Kent, Reading and Kings College London have started
a project to put pre-1865 clergy records online.
You will find it at
http://www.theclergydatabase.org.uk/
They have one record for your cleric in Hartlip in 1810 and several
other Thomas Walkers who might be him.
Nothing matches on Cambridge alumni on Ancestry.
You could ask on the Churchmen-UK Rootsweb list.
People there might have more resources.
