I've got what may be a dilly.

Allan John Wagner, b. 7 May 1886, Boston, MA, USA, says in his military
records that he was in Nova Scotia 1894-1900, and England 1900-1902.
I've looked and looked for him in the 1901 both in Nova Scotia and England
at Ancestry, with absolutely no luck.

I've also had no luck finding Allan's grandmother Sarah McDonald in 1870/71
Massachusetts/Nova Scotia. she was b. abt 1824 in Scotland and was the wife
of Allan McDonald who d. in Cow Bay /Port Morein in 1871, but I can't find
them there. at least some of the family went to Boston.

sure would love to find these people. no idea who Allan was visiting in
England. his paternal line, I assume.
