many thanks for the marriage look-up, Sue.
I had forgot to mention (heat meltdown again) that there is also a son
Will. he was b. in 1672, though, which makes me wonder if there is another
William and Priscilla. this Will (b. 1672) was born in Colchester and was of
Quaker birthright. his parents William Hawkins and Priscilla were of
Coggshall.
guess I have to dig a bit to find out what is what with these apparently two
different families.
Cornelia
still wondering if surnames Haskin and Hawkins were interchangeable, or if
I'm just looking at a transcript error.
