If anyone would like pictures of Dunmow, I have quite a number of old postcards (mostly turn of the century collected by my great grandmother Gladys Pepper nee Baker)

Happy to send scanned images to anyone interested (some are also on my website www.basspepper.com)

I'd hoped to take some pictures of Dunmow that I've promised Bryan on
my way
back from Thaxted, but spent too long in Thaxted and the light was
failing
by the time I got to Dunmow. I will be taking some when I have the
chance.

Finchingfield I've not been visited yet, but its on my list of future
visits
as I've discovered some of my DICE lot there in the 19th century - and
I
want to see the village which is said to be the prettiest in Essex. I
know
too many people in Saffron Walden to get any pictures taken when I'm
there.
However a return visit to Colchester and some photos are also on my
wish
list.
