Of interest, on May 28 th at Lillian (Woods) ZELLEY's "celebration of
life"
I spoke about train trips from London to Southend, and visits to the
beach and the old arcade. I spoke about the Habberley-Woods Chinaware
shop, the candy shop and Terry's bookshop.

I got to view old pictures taken in Southend from the likes of
Woods & Zelley and others posing in a pub with a drink in hand,
to me on the beach as a baby, or standing on a sidewalk not far from
the old arcade. But, how many of us remember the "Punch & Judy" shows.
