You can find the names of churches quite easily
- Go to the Essex County Council website at _www.essexcc.gov.uk_
(http://www.essexcc.gov.uk) ,
- enter the site
- choose 'Archives and museums' from the drop-down list in the box at the
bottom of the screen
- select Parish Records
- in the 'Parish A-Z Quicksearch' drop-down box, choose 'L' and 'go'
- about two-thirds of the way down the list you will find 'Little Ilford'
- click on the words and a further window will open with the name of the
church in it (St Mary the Virgin).
