What is the most common/popular male and female forename amongst your
ancestors?
Mary, Sarah, Christiana, Samuel, James, John
2. Were these common/popular names passed down the line, and down to and
including the recent generation(s)?
Christiana was passed through every generation from 1784 -1885. The last
holder died in 1949.
3. Did any of your ancestors have a family surname or maiden name as one of
their forenames?
Yes - my gt gt grandmother was Sarah Simpson Hubbard, my gt gt grandfather
was James Hart Snare (Simpson & Snare both family surnames)
4. Did any of your ancestors have hyphenated surnames?
No.
5. Did any of your ancestors marry someone with the same surname as
themselves?
Yes - my 3xgt uncle Thomas Scott married Jane Scott - no family connection
between them yet found.
