Hi,
It is a wooden bell cage to house the one bell. Built, they think, in the 17th or 18th century.

I think there's another one at Wix?

On the 'Essex images' picture site, there's a photo of Wrabness graveyard which shows a sort of wooden cage in between the graves. Would anyone know what it is - an unusual tomb cover?
I've never seen one like this.
Thanks
Colleen
