I have a slightly different problem, a branch of our family had drawn up a
beautiful calligraphy tree and sent around the world as Christmas presents.
This was back in the 1960s. I have put this tree on to my computer and when
I put in the 1881 census data it showed this tree was all wrong the head of the
family came from a different village in another part of the county, this new
research cuts out people who are our cousins, but in truth they are not related at all.
Do I tell or not. They all love family history and are looking forward to seeing
the updated tree.
Best wishes,
Chris.
