Hi Kathy

If you've got the marriage cert, that's about the best you will get. If they lived in different parishes (assuming they married in a Church of England Church) the Banns register would tell you what parish(es) they were in.

The certificate should tell you if they were married after banns or by licence but there's not really any more information available, I don't think.
