My ancestors were married in England in 1890. I have their marriage
certificate but is there any other paperwork available regarding the
marriage? In the states they would have had to fill out a marriage
license and that provided a lot of very detailed information. I know my
family emigrated to England before 1890 and was in West Ham from about
1890 until 1895 because I've found birth, marriage and death
certificates but I can't seem to locate them on any other paperwork at
all. In about 1894/5 they emigrated to the US but I can't find them on a
ship passenger list either!
