Good morning

I have very recently discovered that I have the name Giffen or Giffin in my family history and wondered if anyone had any information specifically about a Joseph Giffen who married an Ann Jackson at Debden (parish next the Thaxted) in 1762 and went on the have a child Ann Giffen at Thaxted in 1770.

Naturally I want to find the baptsim of Joseph Giffen but so far no luck.

If anyone has any Giffen/Giffin connections in Thaxted or Debden or nearby parishes it would be great to hear from you.
