Yes, but the name does seem to have had a certain vogue - I have met it a
few times even in fiction. But other "number" names don't seem to be
around. Anyone got a Secundus? Tertius? Quartus? Quintus? Sextus? So I
think there was possibly more to it than just the numerical position in the
family. What about someone born on the seventh day (Sabbath)?
