Thanks for your reply re. Sarah Wallace. When I mentioned the LDS I meant I had been into the Library Catalogue whereby you can look up what records they hold. I too have tried the IGI without success. As you point out my difficulty is not knowing her maiden name but had hoped I might be able to look up Wallace marriages early 1800's because she was most probably married in Braintree given people were not inclined to move around too much in those days. Thanks for trying to help.
