Hello Peter,

I found David's description of 'The Peculiars' quite fascinating.
It reminded me that some 8 years or so ago I was in touch with the Stanway
Evangelical church because I was told that a Perry attended. There was no
connection with me unfortunately but I was led to the Fordham Independent
Chapel, Countess of Huntingdon Connection, where I found some ancestors
were bapt. The ERO had a PR from that chapel at the time.
From the information so far the Walter who was a witness could have been
William's brother.
