Many thanks Joan, this looks like them right enough, although Charles [19]
is either a new one to me, or a transcription error.
'Granpa' Holmes worked in the Post Office, certainly, but was retired before
I was born.
Looks as though I'll need to start digging seriously - I'm much further back
with my Scottish half.
