Thanks for the look up you did for me, John, I'm sorry to hear about the
problem you've had too. What puzzles me is that the archivist of one of the
museums I visit has taken copies of some of my printed censuses and of two
aerial maps with notices on the reverse stating that copying is strictly
forbidden. I told him that I was concerned that this might be an infringment
of copyright, but he said that one copy for personal study purposes doesn't
infringe copyright. I shall never understand copyright regulations, so many
different interpretations are put on them.
