I hope I've thanked everyone who sent replies to this posting,
thanks again to everyone who replied, all the replies offered
interesting possibilities regarding how that parachute could
have ended up in my grandmother's sideboard. Its always
been at the back of my mind that there may have been a
parachute factory in Walthamstow, but no one seems to
know anything about one and so many other possibilities
have been suggested that I think this was just wishful
thinking on my part.
