Dramatic Reading
On Friday evening a reading of Tom Taylor¹s comedy ³Still waters run deep²
was given in connection with the institute, Orsett. The arrangements for the
entertainment were carried out by Mr Rea Corbet. The characters were
supported as under:-John Mildmay, Mr Norris Elye; Potter, Mr Rea Corbet;
Captain Hawksley, Mr W. H. Sackett; Dunbilk, Mr W.J. Cook; Markham, Mr E.
Biddell; Gimlet, Mr Rowley; Jessop, Master E. Rowley; Mrs Mildmay, Miss
Lucas; Mrs Hector Sternhold, Mrs Miller Corbet;
