Hi Pam
I paid up my 6 pounds to English Origins but have found it a complete waste of money. I wanted some references to CLARKE marriages in the parish of Berry Pomeroy, Devon and from the stated coverage it appeared the Boyd's Marriage Index would have this parish well covered. I know there are a whole tribe of CLARKES marrying in this parish throughout the centuries. But no results at all, I tried omitting the parish and going for the whole of Devon, but there are apparently no marriages at all for CLARKE in Devon between the 1500s and 1800s - hard to believe the coverage is so poor. I have tried several other names and counties, nothing at all. You may be lucky but I think I have just thrown 6 pounds away ....
