Hi List,
My great great grandfather, John GALLEY was born in Halstead, Essex about 1825. His parents were Robert Galley & Sarah Clarke/Clerk. Can anyone find a record of his baptism? John was later transported to Australia and prison records give his birthplace as Halstead (his brothers & sisters were born there) but by the time he reached Melbourne his birthplace is given as Suffolk.

Any help appreciated.
