Can someone on this busy and expert list help me with a brick wall?
I have many family lines in North Bucks, including an inevitable SMITH one
In Nash, Bucks, a Thomas SMITH with a Mary had 15 children (they were
baptised in nearby Whaddon) between abt 1816 and 1827 (seems to have been at
least one set of twins, but this was still going some). Thomas gave his
birthplace in 1851 census as Storrington Essex abt 1777/8.
I checked streetmap and it gave me a Storrington in Sussex. Can anyone tell
me if there was a Storrington in Essex? And, if so, any info about SMITHs
there?
In hope
