Hi Colleen!
Just a quick word to say that I think the reason mail is so quiet today is
because 50 million North Americans lost their electricity late y'day
afternoon - including all of New York State and at least part of New
Jersey, as far west as Ohio & Michigan, & as far north as Northern Ontario
[Canada]. This is the area often referred to as the Eastern Seaboard. I
live in the Maritimes in Canada but we were lucky & we're fine. Power is
slowly being restored but I doubt there will be many messages before the
first of next week, as they are still predicting alternating brownouts.
Fortunately there is no indication the problem was started by anyone with
