Jacky,
George Goodacre was transported on the "Sarah" in 1829. he was given 14
years at Chelmsford in 1829 and was 24 years old.
In 1839, in the Castlereagh District, he married Margaret Cullen who was
transported for 7 years on the "Diamond". She was 29 at the time of the
marriage. He had his Ticket of Leave by then.
Archibald Dupree is not on the list of those transported .

Can any Australian listers help me to find out whether there is any info on
two men from the Saffron Walden area of Essex who were sentenced to
transportation in 1829? (could be late 1828 or even 1830 though)
