FWIW, Jim, the occupants of 123 Portobello Road, Kensington in 1891 were
George T Pelty (Petty?), Head, age 54, Leather Seller and his wife Eliza,
age 46.
In 1902 it was Vincent Hy. Biddlecombe, bootmaker.

I'm hunting on the 1881 for mygrandfather. He was a pottery moulder
in 1919 and a leather factory labourer in 1925. One possible from
the 1881 is a "Bats M Dealer" at 123 Portobello Road.
