Hi all,

With Colleen, Charlotte mentioning the name PERRY, I thought I would see if
anyone has any connections to the PERRY family from Barking.

My g.g.grandfather was Thomas Douglas PERRY (b.1823/1825 - d.20th November
1908) married Jemima POLLARD (b.1828 - d.13th June 1918) on 19th March 1848
at St. Margarets Church, Barking, Essex, England.

(Jemima's parents were James POLLARD (b.1st March 1791 - d. 13th April 1859)
& Jane POLLARD)

Their son, my g.grandfather, Henry William PERRY (b.5th July 1856 - d.22nd
June 1941) married Florence Dixon POLLARD (b.13th January 1858 - d.4th March
1921) on 16th May 1877 in St. Peters Church, Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire,
England

Florence's parents were Alexander POLLARD (father James Pollard) and Emma
formerly NEWMAN (Emma's mother was Sarah Ann DIXON b.1840 and her father
John NEWMAN b.1835)

All the men in the families were fishermen and appear to have moved up to
Grimsby in Lincolnshire, England, in the 1860s.

Any connections anyone?

Allthe best,

Jan.
