Dear All:
I found an interesting article in an old journal
called Notes and Queries written by an Edmund Littler
in the 1850's or 60's about skeletons found at Waltham
Abbey when they were doing some excavations close to
the churchyard.

I just tried to find it again to include the web
address but couldn't. But I can check at home if
anyone is interested. There were stakes through the
bodies.
