Hello,
I do have the 1851 Census index, but on Microfiche, so I shall have to wait
until I can get to a microfiche reader. However, I have the 1861 Census
Index on floppy disc for Lexden Registration District, but no GOODs. There
were a few GOODEs (spelling was not as fixed then as it is today) but not
with the right first names. Maybe you meant what was then the village of
Lexden, now part of Colchester, which confusingly came under the Colchester
Registration District and not Lexden R.D. The 1861 Census Index for
Colchester Registration District includes the following people named GOOD
(the numbers are their ages in 1861):
ALICE J 1
EDWARD 64
EDWARD 42
EDWARD J 4
HENRY 4
JOSEPH 33
KATE 6
MARY AMELIA 8
PHOEBE 35
SUSAN 60
I hope this helps.
Regards,
David Lamb (Paignton, Devon, UK)

looking for the family of GOOD and I know there is a Hannah (born
1787)Edward (b.1819) her son & maybe other family members.
