OK, it's NOT Essex, and it's outside Pubby's "Sphere of Bere"but I think I can squeeze in an isolated London enquiry as
it's an Essex person or two. I've just turned up a rellie working as a
Brewers drayman in 1901, living in Bethnal Green - and there I was thinking
he was an abstemious member of the Sally Army!

But can anyone suggest a source where I might find the brewery? Google keeps
coming up with the old Truman's Brewery in Tower Hamlets, on Bethnal Green
Road, but I don't know whether back then there might have been a closer one, or how far away it is.

Any assistance gratefully received!
