Hi all - I know I am chancing it a bit, but as this family ended up in Ilford from c1910 I thought I'd try.
They were Corndealers in the Hackney/Hoxton/Bethnal Green area in the 19th century and I was hoping that SKS might have access to London directories and would do a lookup for them? Also, to see what occupation they had in Ilford.The name seems to be mostly spelt STURGES.
