So why do we refer to the "Good old Days"? They were quite horrible if you
were ill and nearly as bad if you weren't. The precautions against catching
something were sometimes worse than the bugs. The mention of milk at school
reminds me that I still can't drink anything through a straw with first
blowing through it. When I was about eight I found something in my mouth,
after a slurp of milk through a straw, and found it was an earwig.
Ughhh.....
