Hi Ian,
Yes, I agree with you, most of mine were ag labs and straw plaiters with a
couple of yeomen thrown in, I'm sure they ate whatever was available. As
did we, no namby pamby diets for us, but good old suet puds, fish and chips
in newspaper, and whatever else we fancied. The fish & chip shop would be
taken to court today for using 'germ ridden' old newspapers and I cant
remember seeing loads of obese people walking around back then, can you?
