All this talk of bread and dripping, Bovril, fried bread and Yorkshire puds takes me back a while.
Bread & dripping on hot toast or bread was the best and the smell of Bovril when you came out of the swimming baths on a cold winters (or hot, summers) day.
I now live in Australia but still make Yorkshire puds and they always go down well with guests.
