I live in Colchester (not born here though) I've not heard it mooted as a
place for Arthur. Although it is the basis of the Old King Coel nursery
rhyme. I always thought Arthur was Tintagel/ Glastonbury (depending on
where you are selling souveniers- not that I'm a cynic of course!) I've not
been to Glastonbury but did see Tintagel. I think if Arthur didn't make his
home there he was silly because it seems such a magical place.
