OK, Karen, gauntlet thrown down and picked up!
A rough precis of my interests - done from memory so more than a few gaps!

From Great/Little Sampford & Hempstead:

GRAY 1720-2003 (I kid you not)
TURPIN 1770ish - 1nother Turpin in about 1810 as well
MOUNTFORD (pronounced Mumford, it seems) 1770s to 1820s
THURGOOD 1820s - see the Red Lion, GS, on Pubby's web site for details
ANDREWS - Richard and Anne, possibly breeding in Trumpington (Cambs)
in about 1820. He was born Wimbish 1780ish
HARDING - 1810-2003 (just one left, mind)

From Hockley/Wooden Ferrets/Rawreth area
CLARK - 1799 baptism of John son of John and Susannah
BEWERS - again back to about 1795
LAYZELL - born 1840s Hawkwell

From Steeple Bumpstead
FITCH 1820s - Adam & Phoebe, possibly nee Brazier

That's all I can remember. If they cross with yours I'd love to hear and help out!

Adrian
