I have a Thomas SMITH in Woodham Walter around 1811-1823 who I think was a
baker.

His children's baptisms don't show his profession so a trade directory
entry is my only hope...

At least one of his sons was a baker too (joseph SMITH of Burnham) and
possibly another called james SMITH of Woodham Walter so I suspect that
they 'inherited' it.

SO, Does anyone with trade directories have a Thomas SMITH in Woodham
Walter? Or even a James SMITH in Woodham Walter?

Don't worry about Joseph I know about him already.
