Hello Dave,

Saw your recent posting to the Essex-UK list and wondered about your JOHNSON surname. I, too, am researching JOHNSON's in West Ham and Custom House. The only lead for the family was in 1899 at 41 Frederick Road, Custom House, Essex but they were somewhere else in 1901. Sigh!

The family is

Father: Henry

Mother: Alice

Daughter: Elizabeth

Son: William (my grandfather) born 1881, however, after 1899, but he was off fighting wars.

If you have similar names, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Also, I noted that you are researching the STOW surname 1880-1950 (London, Canada). I live in London and wondered what assistance I could offer.
