Hi,
Ancestry.com do have a contact number and email. You find these through
their help section and they are very good at replying and helping.
Ancestry.com have a policy of not publishing living individuals. Unless the
person is obviously dead, given when they were born, or there is a death
date they are not processed onto The World Family Tree.
If a Gedcom file is uploaded through Rootsweb, the person who's file it is
has to check a box for the inclusion or not of living individuals.
Ancestry and rootsweb share their world family tree files.

I have also had the experience of sharing my files and living people showing
up, but it is definitely a Rootsweb problem, not ancestry.com. Anestry.com
will endeavor to fix problems but rootsweb will not alter or help change
family trees that are submitted through them. . I had to contact the person
who uploaded my file and thankfully, he removed all the living individuals.
The file was submitted through Rootsweb.

Another thought......Why not create your gedcom files that you wish to
share, minus living people's details?

Cheers,
Jayne
