An old saying: Its to late to shut the gate, once the horse has bolted.
I have sent and received many GEDCOM files.
And always ask permission to add them to my Web site first.
I never add any person living, or at least remove the B.D.M dates.( for the
sake of privacy.)
I think its the polite thing to do. If i send a file to a re-lo or whoever,
i ask for any person living not to be added to their WEB.
