Hi Karen,

I am not sure if you have any CANT family members in Australia, (or maybe
just missing) but this is a name I come across often in my Hunter Valley,
NSW Research .

On the NSW BDM CD's there are 65 CANT births, the first in 1845 to William &
Elizabeth, the others over a period up to 1888.

The first death recorded is in 1840, of Charles aged 75 followed by 15
others up to 1888

There are 37 CANT marriages between 1852 & 1888

These & other New South Wales BDM's from 1788 can be searched online at
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/ & certificates can also be ordered online.

Deaths & marriages up to 1945
Births to 1918
