Hi Jane,
I had a quick look on the PROCAT site and there was one match for your
g/father, (dates match).
WO 339 War Office: Officers' Services, First World War, Long Number Papers
(numerical) 1914-1922 139908
Subseries within WO 339 OFFICERS SERVICES (INCLUDING CIVILIAN
DEPENDANTS, AND MILITARY STAFF APPOINTMENTS): LONG NUMBER PAPE ...
Top
WO 339/84867 WORLOCK A [1914-1922]
If he was successful in his application for officer cadet training it could
be part of his service records. I couldnt find any thing on the 12th
Yeomanry cyclist Regt. This link is to the regiments.org site
http://regiments.org/milhist/uk/inf-ta/cyclist.htm for the army cyclist
corps. Have a look and see, there may be a link to your regt.
Also on the GENUKI site there is the Suffolk page, which has info on the
Suffolk regiment.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Brendan in Bradford.

they existed. My grandfather applied for officer cadet training & the
present address was given as 12th Yeomanry Cyclists regiment, Ipswich
Suffolk in Jan. 1917. (A.J. Worlock)
