It is not a peculiarity of this list. To reply to the list you should use
"Reply to All" and to reply to just the original Author you should use
"Reply". It is possible to set any RootsWeb list to "Reply to List", but
that only works for messages that do not already specify a Reply To address.
In general, "Reply to List" is only useful for quiet lists when trying to
boost the number of message. I strongly suggest that all our subscribers
check their messages addressed correctly before sending them. Messages
should only be sent to the list if they are on topic. All other messages
should be sent off-list. Any discussion of what is on or off topic, should
be directed to me as the Listowner and not to the list.
