The more we learn about records that we take for granted as being "accurate"
the more we find that they are not so accurate as we thought!

In the course of my researches in to my Cavill line, and a couple of other
"kin" Cavill lines, I now know that one of two of them were not adverse to
telling "porkies" on their marriage certificates, and/or their kids' birth
certificates. The information was and still is, as accurate as the honesty
of the people giving the information given to the registrar.
I also found what I really already knew; and that was that we Cavs only
drink water...we don't walk on it:-)
