Hello Listers All,

I have been fascinated to read all the possibilities concerning these Batchelors Button, but I must admit to finding it highly amusing when we remember that the enquiry originated from a list of useful items for immigrants to take to Canada. The idea of packing posies of flowers or 2 pound (approx 1Kg) packets of chocolate drops, has been "a source of innocent merriment"

I think a mixture of humour, peripheral information and serious research is what makes for an interesting list. Long may it continue.
