Hello,

I know the FreeBMD site, but not the Cheshire one, so I am not really sure
what you meant by "similar sites around the country". As your subject line
was "FreeBMD", I would guess that your question refers to sites providing
details of Civil Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths. As far as I
am aware, FreeBMD is the only site giving transcriptions of the GRO indexes
(though the FreeBMD information is now also available on the Ancestry.com
site, but it is exactly the same information). If I have misunderstood you,
I apologise.
