The Wilkin family have been in Tiptree since the early 1700's. Don't
know where they originated from, but they wouldn't have come from
Dagenham 100 years later.

Subject: Wilkin(s) Dagenham to Tiptree
Dear Listers,
I posted a message this morning regarding Wilkin(s) in Dagenham. I
understand that the Wilkin family who ran the Stockdale Farm in Dagenham
years ago did end up going to Tiptree and descendants now own a fruit
preserve company. Are there any Wilkin descendants out there that might
be
able to help me please in my search for William Wilkin who ended up
going to
Montserrat sometime before 1851?
Thank you for any information.
